Our mission with brain cancer to not just treat - but cure; to not just survive - but THRIVE!
This year's event is over, but we encourage you to still join our families and donate to give back to the local research in Eastern Iowa who helps keep our loved ones alive longer, giving them the opportunity to THRIVE receiving brain tumor treatment.
This was our 4th Annual, "Walk to Cure Brain Cancer." The first two years were lead by Chad and his family, raising enough money needed to fund a Phase I and II Clinical Trial for The Golden Halo. The Stepanek family joined in year three, but unfortunately lost Stephen to brain cancer right before the event. Chad also passed away in October 2023, but our fight continues for others. Donations collected at this year's walk will also directly benefit this research, team and hope.
"Walk to Cure Brain Cancer" fundraisers have collectively raised over $200,000 in the last three years! Our goal with your help is to raise another $50,000 at the Marion event this year.
Although this event is over, you don't have to stop! We are encouraging virtual walkers from all over the country and possibly the world to keep going to raise funds and awareness. If you can join us somehow, some way, please post about it on Facebook or Instagram with #thriveatthejourney, show us your gear and share who you're fighting for. If you know someone who has had a brain tumor or brain cancer, we encourage you to walk for them! Tell us your story, tell us how you know us and why you're walking!
