The first two years were lead by [Chad](https://www.thrivebraincancer.com/chad?hsLang=en) (pictured left) and his family, raising enough money needed to fund a Phase I and II Clinical Trial for The Golden Halo. The Stepanek family joined in year three, but unfortunately lost Stephen to brain cancer right before the event. Chad also passed away in October 2023, but our fight continues for others. Donations collected at this year's walk will also directly benefit this research, team and hope.   Can't make to the Marion event in person this year? We continue to encourage virtual walkers from all over the country - and possibly the world - to keep going to raise funds and awareness!
